History of the Eagles

History of the Eagles is a 2013 twopart authorized documentary about the career of the American rock group the Eagles, directed by Alison Ellwood and coproduced by Alex Gibney. After screening at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in January, it aired on Showtime in February, and was released in April on DVD and Bluray Disc with a third disc containing eight songs from the bands performance at the Capital Centre in March 1977. A concert tour of the same name took place from 20132015, visiting North America, Europe, and Oceania.
